The Common Core State Standards mean big
changes for teachers of students with disabilities, who face the challenge of
providing grade-level content to students with disabilities through
individualized education programs (IEPs). Experts Carol Kosnitsky, a New
Hampshire-based special education consultant, and Barbara Van Haren, a director
of special education in Pewaukee, Wis., have experience working with teachers
who are learning how to weave core standards into IEPs. They will answer your
questions on this vital topic.
